Showcase Blog Hop

This time we are showcasing what is on our desks - what we have on the go! This time of year for me that means Tags! Tags! and More Tags! I make tags to put on my gifts. I make tags as gifts to be sent in advance of Christmas so my recipients also have handmade gift tags to use.

The best tool for making many tags easily and quickly is the Tailor Made Tag Dies

As you can see there are several sizes in two different designs as well as reinforcement or decorative circles. If you like to make tags, this is an essential item for your crafting. If you live in Canada, you can order them through me here

With these dies you can create layers on your tags easily and tags are not just for Christmas. You can make tags for gifts for any occasion and tags are also not just for gift tags! You can use them on cards and also scrapbooks.

Here are some of my creations below!

The first are Christmas tags using cutouts from the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6x6 Designer Series Paper using the dies from the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle. The greeting are from the stamp set in the bundle. Once you cut the images out with the dies, you can create so many different tags and cards. These would be great for children to make their own tags and cards. Die cut some tags, cut out the images and all they need is a little adhesive, ribbon and greetings. The designer series paper and bundle will be retired at the end of the year so get them now - see my page https://www.stampinup.ca/?demoid=2159197

Using the same designer series paper, dies and greetings I created a card with one tag cut from dsp and one from Real Red Cardstock. The colours in the dsp are Cinnamon Cider, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Real Red

Yes, tags can even be great for scrapbooking. Here are three tags cut from the Cork 12x12 Specialty Paper. This would work well with the Kraft paper also available now but I liked the woodgrain look for this page. A strip of  the Cork behind the word at the bottom would have made it stand out better - it says MIDASES using the Playful Alphabet Dies. We always had a border collie mix and my grandmother named the first one Midas and as each Midas went off to doggie dreams, a new Midas replaced him, hence the plural in the  label. The Walt is my late uncle Walter who always bonded with the family dogs. You can see him from toddler to teen with a Midas and in between with two dogs - well let's hope one of them had a different name.

These Tailored Tags Dies are usually not far from my desktop and that is my showcase for today! If you live in Canada, I would love to be your demonstrator.
