Stamp Pad(s) and Ink(s): Just Jade (153115), Misty Midnight (153118)

       Embellishments: Opal Rounds (154289)

       Tools: Paper Trimmer (152392)

Miscellaneous: SEAL Adhesive (149699), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Optional: Basics Embossing Powders (155554), Versamark Pad (102283)

Measurements:

       Color and Measurement(s) Just Jade 4.25” x 11” scored at 5.5”

       Color and Measurement(s) Basic White – 2 pieces 4” x 5.25”

Color and Measurement(s) If using designer series paper instead of making your own, substitute one Basic White cardstock for designer series paper 4” x 5.25”

Instructions:

Options include creating your own designer series paper and making scratch ‘n sniff elements

  1. Cut the bottom 3” off front of card and then cut that piece into halves to equal two pieces of 1.5” by 4.25”

  1. Create your own marbled background instead of designer series paper with marble technique. Put a couple of drops of each reinker into separate cups – place 2-3 marbles into each cup and roll until marbles covered with ink. Place one of the Basic White cardstock pieces into a small tray or plate. Drop one color of marbles onto cardstock and roll it around, back and forth to make lines or patter. Put marbles back into container. Take the next color of marbles and drop onto the cardstock and roll around to add to pattern. After satisfied with the pattern, fleck Wink of Stella onto the cardstock to add some glitter. Let dry.

  1. Cut bottom of designer series paper (either your choice of designer series paper or one you created above) off at 2.5” and then half that until you have two pieces of 1.25” x 4”

  1. Mat designer series paper over the Just Jade Cardstock – one piece on top flap remaining on card front and the other two pieces over the two pieces of Just Jade cut from the bottom of the front.

  1. Glue one piece of Just Jade across the back of the front flap and then the other piece across the bottom of that piece to line up to card back. You will have a U-shape on the front of the card and slightly to the left to allow room for greeting and images to show through on opening on the right. Inside of finished card will look like this:

  1. Stamp your greeting and images on the second piece of Basic White cardstock so that the greeting and some of images will appear in the opening at the front. Adhere inside card back.

  1. Stamp three whales in Just Jade (two) and Misty Moonlight (one).

Optional: create scratch ‘n sniff: mix 1 part lime jello (or other scented powder) to 1.5 clear embossing powder and stamp over the inked images in the same spot (a Stamparatus helps line them up exactly) with Versamark and then cover image with your powder made from clear embossing powder and scented powder. Heat emboss from the back of the cardstock to ensure powder doesn’t crystallize too much.

  1. Punch out whales and adhere to front of card as shown with dimensionals.

  1. Add Opal Rounds to opening of card
